About The Hidden Trunk | Real-Life Style for Moms

The Hidden Trunk has been a dream of mine since high school — but it finally came to life in 2013, once my two daughters were grown, graduated, and off building their own lives. At the time, I was teaching Marketing at Deer Park High School, showing students how to become entrepreneurs — and I thought, “Why not live it out myself?” So I launched this boutique as both a teaching tool and a leap of faith.

More than a decade later, The Hidden Trunk is still grounded in that same heart: helping moms feel cute, confident, and comfortable — without blowing the budget. I carefully curate each piece with busy women in mind, especially the ones who’ve been caring for everyone else and need a little something that’s just for them.

My customer (friend) is often a mom of teens or grown kids. She’s stylish but realistic. She loves her people fiercely, stays on a budget, and wants clothes that feel good and look even better. Most of you live in the suburbs or big cities — and many, like me, are women of faith. She’s not trying to turn heads — just feel like her best self again. That’s who I shop for.

I still do the occasional pop-up market (because I love making new friends), and when I’m not packing orders or planning content, you’ll probably find me walking, exercising, or hanging out with my grandson. After 40 years of marriage, I know a thing or two about life’s highs and lows — and I hope this boutique is a place where you feel encouraged, understood, and stylish no matter what your day holds.
